The crunchy large heart shaped wasabi leaves and long straw like stems (petioles) are delicious, highly valued and in steady demand due to their limited seasonal availability.

The heat of wasabi is most pronounced in the prized rhizomes and more prominent in stems than leaves, while the distinct real wasabi flavor adds its value in all applications!

Real Wasabi stems can be used fresh in salads, sautéed with with mixed greens, or as  exotic garnishes for Bloody Mary's or Classic Martinis. They keep in fridge for a week.
